Do you enjoy scrapbooking? Then what could be more fun then earning your living at home doing something you love? Scrapbooking is becoming a very lucrative business in the United States. In fact, scrapbooking as a trade is raking in $2.5 billion dollars a year.
Perhaps you are a bit skeptical, but consider this: according to yahoo over 100,000 searches are made for scrapbooking monthly. And that's just on yahoo alone!!! Just think of what could happen with a little hard work!
Now before you get too excited there are some things to consider:
1. Be Realistic'
Don't let the work-at-home label fool you, scrapbooking is not a get rich quick scheme. However, like most work-at-home business it will require a lot of hard work and time management, which is nothing a well motivated person can't handle. So if you are looking for a career change or just more time around the house then work-at-home scrapbooking might be for you.
2. Does your job allow you to do what you love?
Stuck in a job you can't stand? Do you need a job that allows for more artistic expression? Then take your future into your own hands! Starting your own work-at-home business gives you the creative control! In addition, while you still do have to meet your deadlines, scrapbooking can offer you much more enjoyment with your finished product then conventional careers. What's more you do not have to stick to just scrapbooking! Using the skills you have acquired you can easily make money by creating posters, corporate portfolios, borders, and even backgrounds. Also, you can offer your customers supplies and how-to guides. Last, keep in mind that if you choose to make scrapbooking your career, you can spend all the time you want developing your skills and your business. So the skies the limit!
3. Could you use an extra income?
So maybe you're not ready to jump on the bandwagon yet. Why not scrapbook part-time? Could you use an extra income around the house? Of course you could! And perhaps once you get going you will find yourself ready to jump on full-time.
